Small Scale Pet & Animal Supplement Manufacturing

Develop your formula. Test your product. Produce your first commercial run.

Animistic helps emerging brands and established animal nutrition companies develop supplements and produce small batches for launches, market tests, and new product introductions. We combine animal nutrition expertise with practical laboratory work, so your formula and manufacturing approach are considered together.

Our current commercial manufacturing service is limited to 1,000 finished units or fewer per run.

What We Can Make

Powdered Supplement

Small-batch blending and product preparation, with filling and packaging requirements reviewed for each project. Up to 1,000 finished units per run.

Pelleted Supplement

Runs under 1,000 lb, with packaged projects capped at 1,000 finished units. Formula and pellet suitability require review.

Liquid Supplement

Mixing and filling for technically suitable formulas and containers. Up to 1,000 finished units per run.

Freeze Dried Trial

Small test runs to assess feasibility and prototype performance. Commercial freeze-drying production is outside this offer.

A finished unit is one saleable package, such as a pouch or bottle. Unit count, fill weight, batch volume, formula, and packaging all affect feasibility. Published limits are maximums; individual projects may have lower limits or minimum batch requirements.

Product Development Built Around Your Launch

Bring us a concept, an existing formula, or a product that needs improvement. We can help define a practical development plan around your animal species, intended use, target cost, and launch goals.

Initial Production Run

Path From Idea to Production

1. Share your project.
Tell us about your company, product format, formula status, desired quantity, budget, and launch timing.

2. Confirm fit.
We review whether your project matches our equipment, technical capabilities, and available schedule. An NDA is put in place before confidential formulation details are exchanged.

3. Develop or verify.
If needed, we scope paid development or feasibility work before committing to commercial manufacturing.

4. Approve product and production plan.
We agree on the formula, specifications, packaging, testing, pricing, and responsibilities.

5. Produce run.
Once prerequisites are complete, we schedule the agreed batch and provide the documentation defined in your project scope.

Who We Work With

We work with startups preparing a launch, established brands adding a new SKU, animal nutrition companies seeking development support, and ingredient suppliers creating application prototypes.

Small runs can help your company test demand, refine a new product, or support an initial launch while managing inventory investment.

Common Questions

What’s the minimum order?

Minimum quantities are quoted by project. They depend on the formula, batch size, ingredient availability, fill size, packaging, and setup requirements. Our current commercial runs do not exceed 1,000 finished units.

Can you manufacture a formula we already own?

Yes, where the formula and process fit our capabilities. We review the information needed to assess technical readiness and quote the work. A trial or paid feasibility review may be needed before production.

Can you develop the formula and manufacture it?

Yes, for suitable products within our current capacity. Development and manufacturing are scoped separately so you can understand each investment and approve the next stage.

Can you make pelleted or freeze-dried product?

We can assess supplement pelleting projects under 1,000 lb. Packaged runs are also limited to 1,000 finished units. Ingredient behavior, pellet requirements, and intended use determine suitability.

We offer small freeze-drying test runs for development and feasibility work. This service is intended for prototypes and trials.

How much does a project cost and how long does it take?

We quote against your scope and product requirements. Timing depends on development needs, materials, packaging, testing, and available capacity. We confirm a project schedule after review rather than promising a universal turnaround.

What happens when we need more than 1,000 units?

We can discuss manufacturer sourcing and transfer support as a separate service. Larger manufacturing orders require a production partner with suitable capacity.
